The company completed the first stage of auditing in May and the final one in July 2016. Following that, the organization’s QMS process records and audit reports were reviewed to ascertain compliance with all of the requirements in the certification process. Rockett Inc. was then recommended for certification to Perry Johnson Registrars.
The Significance of the ISO 9001: 2008 Certification
ISO 9001:2008 is globally recognized and accepted as a quality management framework and system for commercial organizations in the industrial sector. It is the only standard in the ISO 9000 family that requires certification. While Rockett has now achieved this coveted certification, this step only marks the beginning of a journey rather than the destination. Maintaining the status requires ongoing assessments that the company must undergo after the initial certification.
